Fallout New Vegas Will Take Some Time To Finish

Fallout is known for a couple things, the main one being its post-apocalyptic setting, but another is that Fallout never falls short of the lengthy RPG experience. Fallout New Vegas will be no different, today according to Pete Hines, Bethesda’s VP of Marketing and PR, Fallout New Vegas will “take you hundreds of hours to explore every nook and cranny”.
Although unlike the series' previous games, Fallout New Vegas will have more in its nooks and crannies than some dirt/rubble. “Vegas is up and running. It is not a ghost town. It still exists and thrives. There are casinos, and you can go down onto the Strip,” explains Hines.
I had a great deal of fun with Fallout 3, but one of its short comings was that it didn't have enough interesting stuff to interact with. There was a lot of stuff to explore, but rarely would it really interest me. I'm happy to see that New Vegas is taking a little different approach to the Fallout series, and hope that it will become a continuing trend.

  8. Hundreds of hours?! Well, you will definitely get your moneys worth if you like the genre. A big game means they're not sparing any expense so it should be better then F3.

  10. I hope they fix all the glitches in this version. The PS3 version of Fallout 3 was tainted graphically by all those nasty frame drops.

  19. I really enjoyed Fallout 3 (until Fawkes went crazy for no reason and chased me all over the wasteland trying to kill me, pissed me off because I was using him as an item mule) so I'll probably pick this up.

You could have sold it like few people do, but I really appreciate your generosity.

Now that I'm thoroughly hyped for New Vegas, I hope it doesn't work out the other way around this time.
