Its not a huge surprise that there will be another Blizzcon this year, although there was some mixed info on where it would be held. Earlier this year reports starting rolling in saying that Blizzcon 2010 would be held in Las Vegas, but it turns out that's false.
Blizzard released their official Blizzcon report today, and what do you know, Blizzcon 2010 will be October 22-23 at the Anaheim Convention Center as usual.
I've been able to attend the last two Blizzcons ('08 and '09), each of which have been a blast! If your at all interested in Blizzard and their games, I'd highly suggest you look into going this year. More info will be released as we draw closer to the event's date, but until then, might I suggest some
Diablo 2 to cure you're Blizzard fever.
While we're all waiting for the Summer of 2007 to come around so that we can all get our StarCraft 2 Beta on, Blizzard has kindly given us some new info on whats to come with the brand new Battle.net service. The new and imporved Battle.net service will be a brand new experience for all Starcraft 2 users to experience..."Soon". It will offer things like cross-game chat, the Real ID service, updated matchmaking and the StarCraft II user mod marketplace.
With all of this hype about the new Battle.net Experience people are beginning to suspect that the Starcraft 2 Beta might also launch within a matter of time. I for one can't wait to get my hands on Starcraft 2 again after playing a bit of it at last years Blizzcon.
