Another Live Action Halo Trailer In The Bag

It's that time again folks, another live action commercial for the latest Halo game.

If you feel like this trailer is missing something, don't worry, the "full" commercial will be available for Xbox Live Gold subscribers tomorrow.

The Live Action Alan Wake Prequel Has Arrived

Bright Falls is a prequel to Remedy's up-coming title, Alan Wake. These first two episodes give of a very Twin Peaks meets modern thriller vibe, which is great because that's exactly what Alan Wake is going for as well.
The first episode is about 5 minutes long, and if your at all interested in Alan Wake I'd highly suggest you check it out.

Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack Detailed And Over-Priced

Last week a pretty clever ad hit the web, which was advertising the first Modern Warfare 2 map pack DLC.
Details of which maps will be included came out today, so without further a-do, here's the list.

New maps: 

• "Salvage," a snowy junkyard fortified by stacked debris and crushed cars 
• "Storm," an open industrial park littered with heavy machinery
• "Bailout," a multi-level apartment complex
 

Modern Warfare(the first) maps: 

• "Overgrown," which features a massive dry creek bed
• "Crash," a war-torn urban environment 

The pack looks pretty decent, but here's the kicker, its going to cost you 1200 Microsoft Points which is $15. Now $15 might not seem like too much money when you're comparing it the $60 price point of Modern Warfare 2 itself, but for a simple map pack, that's a lot to ask.
Setting this type of price point sure isn't helping Activation's image of "The evil empire", but I'm starting to think they don't care too much.
This DLC is coming out on Xbox Live first, and it will be hitting PSN a month after that.

First Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack Coming March 30

Are you suffering from an illness, but you can't figure out what it might be. Well don't worry, because Infinity Ward, Activision, and Microsoft have teamed up to cure millions of folks of a new illness....Mapathy.

The picture above pretty much says it all... I have to say though, pretty clever marketing for something as common as a DLC map pack.

Xbox Live to Stop Servcing Xbox 1 games on April 15th

Microsoft has recently announced that they will discontinue the ability to play Xbox 1 games on Xbox live starting April 15th. Microsoft has said multiple times before that they feel as though they are limited by supporting both Xbox 1 and Xbox360 console and so this change, in their view, is for the better.One thing in particular is the problem of only being able to have a 100 friends on Xbox live. This issue is being caused directly because of Xbox 1 support due to the fact that many of those games weren't meant for people's friends list's to be over 100 people. Three of the most popular Xbox 1 games that are still being played online today are:

Halo 2
Counterstrike
Crimson Skies

If you want to get any nostalgic game play on any of the original Xbox titles in, do so before April 15th.
